Best advice for new Rogues: ALWAYS carry water on long runs. Even when there is water provided. Always. Trust me. Just do it. Also, run with JOY, y'all. No one is paying you to do this. It's a hobby. You might as well enjoy it.

Coaching experience and philosophy: I have been coaching for 19 years. My greatest joy is being a part of the journey when an athlete runs their first full or half marathon. The bonds formed training on the long runs last a lifetime.

Background: First marathon in 2004…and was hooked! The love I developed for running, the incredible friendships I’ve made and the amazing training have kept me coming back year after year.

Coaching experience and philosophy: I’ve been coaching for 16 years. I didn’t even start running long distance until 4 months after my second daughter was born. You don’t have to grow up a runner to be a runner, anyone can do it as long as you commit to the training.
